Maria has helped hundreds maybe even thousands of students attend homecoming and prom if they couldn’t afford a dress or tux or suit and accessories and hair. She did this in honor of her daughter, Irene, who died a few years ago. She does it almost all by herself with the help of her family. She visits each school and sets up the prom closet which she keeps in the basement of her duplex.
